Rising Music head Chris Lake has, time and again, proven himself to be a force within the house/techno scene. At times both progressive and deep, Lake has made a name for himself in a number of ways, from being a UK artist that's made a splash in the United States to the point where he's now based out of Los Angeles to being signed as an artist with Ultra at the same time he's been running Rising Music, which has seen success with their signed artists like TJR and Nom De Strip. He's taking the Rising Music crew's fall tour starting tonight, September 6, and is the first up in a batch of Five Tracks from the acts on the tour. Lake's contribution? Five tracks that will never go out of style.

Timeless and effortless track, that summed up my early years in Ibiza. Beautiful.

Der Dritte Raum - "Hale Bopp"

One the most beautiful arpegiator lines I've ever heard. So minimal yet involving. I could listen to this on repeat all day.

Timo Maas - "Der Schrieber"

This track gets me going so much. The track was made in the late '90s and is still mixed better than most tracks nowadays. Hits hard!

Sputnik - "Stylus Trouble"

Hidden gem. For me this is the first track that nailed the sort of noisy breakdown I like.

Chris Malinchak - "So Good to Me"

This track I think will be around for years. It's stunning, and you could dance to it, and chill out to it in your house.
