One of the most-discussed songs to be released this week was Drake's "Wu-Tang Forever." It threw diehard Wu fans into a frenzy, with many expressing their disapproval. However, according to U-God, not only does the Clan approve of the song, they have also already recorded a remix for the track.

In an interview with Vibe while at Rock The Bells, U-God said, “They wanted us to remix it and get on there [so] you gon’ probably hear another one with us on it. Meth did his verse—we all did our verses. I wrote my rhyme in probably 15, 20 minutes.” U-God also added that the crew was in the studio working on the track for about four hours.

U-God is not the first member of the Clan to cosign Drake's tribute to them, which samples "It's Yours." Hours after the song came out, Raekwon tweeted his approval. Meanwhile, the Clan's official Twitter account echoed the sentiment, saying that fans who did not like the song needed to lay off of Drake for paying homage.

However, there appears to be some miscommunication between the members of the Clan. Inspectah Deck has now come out against the song, saying that it is not a tribute and should not be called "Wu-Tang Forever." This came hours after he admonished fans for attacking Drake for making the song. Does this mean that Deck was not aware of the remix and did not contribute a verse to it?

After listening to the @Drake song, I agree with u... It is in no form a tribute to WU and SHOULD NOT wear the title Wutang Forever!
