Rumors have been brewing that superstar producer Timbaland was working on a new project involving Michael Jackson, and we now have an official announcement in the form of this short trailer from Revolt TV.
Timbaland explains that L.A. Reid came to him with a "big" suggestion, which appears to involve producing some songs with MJ's vocals. "Now you're gonna hear my music with his voice on it," Timbaland explains, adding "Now's my time. Watch me go."
He says the first song will be "Chicago," but other details remain scarce. The video seems to suggest that Timbaland's only previous connection to the King of Pop was talking together on the phone, so it will be exciting to see how this project unfolds as the sounds of these two key musical figures come together.
