The Weeknd just put up his remix to "Royals," a song by New Zealand artist Lorde. The original song itself has certainly caught on and has spurred plenty of remixes in the last couple of months. The Weeknd's version, however, might just be the biggest one to date. The Toronto native doesn't add too much to the song; he sprinkles in light vocal adlibs but otherwise just touches up the beat, giving it an XO vibe.
The Weeknd's upcoming album, Kiss Land, is due out September 10. Listen to his remix of "Royals" below.
