Cats don't exactly scream hip-hop. While dogs are tough and menacing, felines are, well, plain adorable. Imagine DMX's Grand Champ with a kitten on the cover instead of the pitbul. Or Jay-Z and Kanye performing "H.A.M." during the Watch the Throne tour with a cat hissing on screen. It wouldn't have the same effect. Still, it is nice to see rappers soften up up their resolve and kick it with cats.
However, there is a way to look tough with a cat, just get a big cat. A really big cat, like a fucking tiger that might maul you if you look at it sideways.
