Lil Wayne might be disappointed in having let the fans down in the last year with his creative output, but he is looking to redeem himself here quickly with the release of Dedication 5, a new installment of his famed mixtape series with DJ Drama.

LilWayneHQ has posted what appears to be the artwork for the mixtape, along with a speculative release date of August 30. Wayne recently told a fan who was demanding the project that he needed "10 mo days." This message, sent 11 days ago, seemed to suggest that the project was almost done, and could be ready in time for a release in the end of August.

Dediaction 4 came out less than a year ago, making this a very short wait between mixtapes. In comparison, the gap between Dedication 3 and Dedication 4 is four years. Meanwhile, this will be Wayne's second project of 2013, having previously released I Am Not A Human Being II back in March. He was also involved in the Rich Gang album that came out several months back.
