There's never been any doubt that Prince's famously idiosyncratic written stylings would make for a fantastic Twitter presence—in fact, there's already a very popular parody account—but, until now, we haven't been graced with words of wisdom from The Artist himself.
The Twitter account for Prince's current project, 3RDEYEGIRL, has been active since January, and, at first glance, it looks much like what one would assume Prince's tweets might look like. However, it appears someone else has been doing social media for the account—until now. Tonight, Prince appeared to break his online silence, announcing his own first tweet:
PRINCE'S 1ST TWEET... TESTING 1, 2...
For further clarification, he posted this informative picture:
He also fell pretty quickly into Twitter's usual traps, posting a picture of his food...
