D'Angelo has cancelled a handful of shows due to what his representatives are calling, "a medical emergency."
The 39-year-old R&B singer was slated to perform in Chicago tonight, San Diego on August 10, as well as at this year's Outside Lands festival in San Francisco this Friday (August 9), but those shows have since been cancelled. Despite his unknown health issues, the singer's agent stated, "It's serious, but he should be OK."
D'Angelo has already missed performances in New York, Minneapolis and Columbia, Maryland in the last week.
