Nobody does real talk like Reggie Ossé a.k.a. Combat Jack. The former rap industry attorney, media executive, author, and Internet radio talk-show personality now hosts The Combat Jack Show, where hip-hop's biggest names are put on the front line. The questions will be tough—and shots will be fired. Co-hosted by Dallas Penn, Premium Pete, and Just Blaze, The Combat Jack Show appears every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday on Complex TV.

In the first part of our three part interview with Gunplay on The Combat Jack Show, Gunplay opens up about the armed robbery charges he faced last year, which would eventually be dropped as the 33-year-old rapper was put under house arrest for his actions. "Everybody go through shit, dog. It's just how you get through that shit. It's not that serious," Gunplay says. "If I'm not going to die about that shit or I'm not going to jail about that shit, I'm not sweating that shit."

While under house arrest, Gunplay explains that the one thing he missed most of the outside world was taking part in the MMG tour, which was cancelled abruptly by Rick Ross. "I wish I would have been on that MMG tour," he says. "Another thing with nature, and the forces that is, is timing. It's time for them to be on tour, it's time for them to be on TV."

Combat also asks him about last year's brawl at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, and about his chain, which landed in the hands of 50 Cent. "I'm fighting. Nobody took nothing from me," Gunplay attests. "I Iost that shit, and a nigga picked it up."

Gunplay's latest mixtape, Acquitted, is available for download now.
