From GBE to "Karate Chop," the stop-start flow seems to have inundated the Atlanta rap diaspora. "Poppin 4 Sum," Young Dro, B.o.B., and Yung Booke's sparse DJ Spinz-produced track from the recent G.D.O.D. Grand Hustle compilation, finds Dro adopting the style. While it's good that Dro is "back" (we wrote more about this here), his greatest strength was always his unconventional delivery. When he was hopping on the Yung L.A. wave, he was adapting his approach to another rapper's sound, so it's a little underwhelming to see him hopping on this particular trend.

Also of note: B.o.B. is rapping over rap songs again.
