Philly's the home of the street bass/future bass culture, and hearing Philly's XNDR link up with the Glitch Squad over this ominous trap track, "Pharoahs," it feels like that whole scene is evolving. You feel it from jump, with the eerie melancholy in the intro building into a full-on 808 blast. Hopes of never dying, and imploring you to open wide, this is one of those take-no-prisoners tunes that you can hear coming a mile away and can't rewind fast enough. DAD wishes more trap tracks were stacked this thick.
