When we heard that DARQ E FREAKER has beats on Danny Brown's Old, this is exactly what we expected the project to sound. The Bug has been crafting all kinds of dub, grime, hip-hop, dropping tunes on Rephlex, Ninja Tune, and other imprints. His forthcoming EP, Filthy, features the likes of Flowdan and Daddy Freddy, and drops in August on Ninja Tune. This instrumental might sound super familiar, as it's the same riddim that Flowdan merked on the title track, but I don't think it's been out with Danny Brown's vocals before. Dig into the trap'd up grimey sounds, then hit rewind and run it again. So tough.
