NERVO being featured on an episode of One Life To Live might be the first staged performance in a long time from an EDM act that I actually agree with. These Australian twins actually hooked the CDJs up to the mixer, and actually mixed live for a small crowd.
While the interaction with the individuals that have no idea what's really going on makes us smirk, we have to applaud this soap opera for inviting legit DJs to perform, and a nod to whoever said "let's make this experience authentic." There's nothing that makes us shake our head more when a televised event features a DJ playing with knobs on a mixer that isn't hooked up, and this certainly wasn't that. This clip shows some of the experience on set, and the excitement in the eyes of NERVO feels genuine.
