The So So Def engine helmed by Jermaine Dupri and—initially, anyway—funded with help from Kris Kross (RIP) keeps on ticking, in this case with help from producer Pharrell Williams. Dupri is one executive producer you can never count out.
His latest project is Leah LaBelle, whose funky pop song here is pretty hard to deny, even if it drastically changes the plot from Vladimir Nabokov's 1995 novel of the same name.
