Daft Punk is known for the shiny helmets that have become ubiquitous calling cards for the successful group. Because of their fondness for these helmets, it was a natural fit for them to promote a Formula 1 racecar. At the Le Grand Prix de Monaco, Daft Punk decided to accompany the car and crew out to the track, giving the team a boost while quite possibly intimidating the competition.
