The French website Konbini is reporting some new surprising guest artists for Daft Punk's upcoming LP—due out May 21 via Columbia Records. In addition to legendary producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers (originally of Chic, but also the mind behind classic tracks for Diana Ross and Madonna, among others) and Giorgio Moroder (the genius behind Donna Summer's "I Feel Love"), both of whose names had been floated around recently, the duo has added some heavy hitters from outside of dance music and disco.

Pharrell Williams apparently has vocals on two tracks (No. 6 and 8), while Julian Casablancas of The Strokes is reportedly singing on track No. 5. Todd Edwards, a renowned house producer who also appeared on Daft Punk's Discovery, is also back in the fold as well. And the site also reports guest spots for Animal Collective's Noah Benjamin Lennox (aka Panda Bear), Canadian pianist Gonzales and guitarist Paul Jackson, Jr., who played guitar with Michael Jackson.
