In April of 2012, the BBC announced that they were shifting their radio programs, and DJ Bailey's long-standing tenure with the 1Xtra D&B show was part of their restructuring. His final broadcast was a somber one, filled with many of the scene's finest. It made sense, as Bailey had showcased the full spectrum of drum & bass for a full decade.

Today, Bailey announced that he will be joining Ministry of Sound Radio, kicking off with his first show on May 21 (which is also his birthday). His show will go down on Tuesdays, and be accessible via the Ministry of Sound app and their "listen again" feature. He'll be among friends, as MOS already has the likes of Metalheadz, Shogun Audio, and V Recordings providing a rotating drum & bass schedule. We'll see how the mighty Bailey fits in.

Hit up Ministry of Sound's radio site for more details on how to listen to their programming.
