James Blake's collaborator, Dan Foat, spoke about plans for Blake's upcoming Overgrown project, which drops on Apr. 8 recently. However, he let it be known that Blake's manager and Kendrick Lamar spoke about a possible collaboration between the two.

With Blake's new label 1-800-Dinosaur launching this month, Foat says it would be great to release the collaboration via 1-800 Dinosaur and Lamar's Top Dawg Entertainment.

However, he says right now everyone is too busy touring to make any official commitments.

"The TDE setup is inspiring and something I’d like to replicate with 1-800, they’re like a modern day Death Row. It’s a long ball game," Foat says.

There have been rumors that Blake will collab with Jay-Z and Kanye West, and Lil Wayne, as well.
