Rappers Marcus Eugene and Starks comprise Winners Circle, a new rap duo affiliated with Stalley's Blue Collar Gang. According to a press release, the name "Winners Circle" speaks to the rappers' athletic backgrounds: Marcus used to play basketball overseas; Starks played Division 1 college football.
On "Hail to the King," featuring Rockie Fresh, the group uses a reggae-tinged beat to praise the rap grind. They debunk haters and assess their respective career paths, among other things. It's the first single from their forthcoming mixtape, which features Nipsey Hussle, Curren$y, Kendrick Lamar and Boldy James, according to a press release. Stream "Hail to the King" below.
