Just let this one soak in for a bit. A while ago, Numbers had a Pleasure Principle imprint lined up for limited-run vinyl releases, mostly bootlegging dope r&b and hip-hop. In 2011, they put out a beautiful remix of Janet Jackson's "Pleasure Principle" by none other than Hudson Mohawke, and with their Pleasure Principle festival going down in April, they unleashed his "Pleasure" tune for free. And it's a gem. Janet's vocal is all over this, building from a heavier, slower rhythm track into an all-out muted house-style banger. Really intriguing rework.
