It’s hard to imagine, but there was a time when LL Cool J performed to a small college gymnasiums mostly filled with children and parents. The recently surfaced video above shows a 17-year-old LL and associate Cut Creator doing just that.
The clip comes from 1985, the year LL’s debut Radio hit stores, and it finds LL performing tracks like “I Want You” and “I Need a Beat” at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Watch that up above, if only so LL Cool J can remind you to stay in school and away from drugs.
