Hip-hop has had a resurgence of new up-and-coming female MCs. One of those is Brooklyn-raised SIYA, who just joined R&B singer Tank’s record label. Following up her collection of smoker anthems with producer The Olympicks on 2011’s Elevator Dreams, she brings plenty of more heat on “D.Y.K.E.” Don’t get it confused: the acronym actually means, “Damn You Killin’ ‘Em.”

The multi-colored video, produced by Mike Ho, finds SIYA spitting her heartfelt rhymes to a sexy dime piece. She is proud of her sexual orientation, speaking on not getting discouraged by others who are negative. Her rapping/crooning style complements Tank’s soothing hook: “I’mma putting it out there, fuck it I don’t really care/I ain't trying to fair/I got them all runnin' scared/Damn, I'm killin' them.” If you have been sleeping on SIYA before, this is your chance to get introduced.

SIYA is releasing her upcoming mixtape, D.Y.K.E., on November 12. Watch the video above.
