There’s a new fusion that is making waves in the electronic music scene: combining qualities of trap music and re-purposing them with an EDM spin to it. The results have been pretty infectious. You couldn’t escape this past summer without hearing at least one remix from a DJ or producer.
The latest to hit the Internet is a remix of Dom Kennedy’s “My Type Of Party” from the Yellow Album. Behind it are Austin Millz and DJ Super Nova who slow things down, add a few dope gun cocks, and finish off with rapid drum claps. The two Penn State natives deliver “My Trap Of The Party,” which you can stream below.
