Kanye West may be considered a god to many people but when it comes to the law, even he isn't above it. According to a report by HipHopWired, West is now facing suit over uncleared samples from his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Label TufAmerica is suing the Chicago native over the sample usage of Eddie Bo's “Hook & Sling” on two songs off of his 2010 album, "Who Will Survive In America” and "Lost in The World."

The suit does say that Roc-a-Fella Records and Universal Music Group spent $62,500 to clear the sample but didn't "enter into written license agreements that accounted for their multiple other uses” of the song in question.

TufAmerica acquired the rights to the song back in 1996 and is suing the label heavyweights for copyright infringement. The amount they are facing is unspecified.
