Major Lazer & J. Cole "Get Free ColeWorld"

Not Available Interstitial

Major Lazer’s collaboration with Dirty Projectors’ Amber Coffman was already one of the year’s best tracks. “Get Free” only got better this week, though, as J. Cole hopped on the joint, now entitled “Get Free ColeWorld.” Cole imports a poignant flow into the laid-back, dreamy track with a smooth precision. The original is set to appear on Major Lazer’s sophomore LP, but there’s no word yet about the fate of “Get Free ColeWorld.”

Cold Cave "A Little Death to Laugh"

Not Available Interstitial

Cold Cave are gearing up for a tour this fall and to get things rolling, they dropped a gem of a new single in "A Little Death to Laugh." It's just as infectious and danceable as it is dark and spooky, and it leaves us wondering when frontman Wes Eisold will let us know when their new album is dropping. Hopefully early 2013.

Crystal Castles "Wrath Of God"

Not Available Interstitial

Earlier this week Crystal Castles announced and immediately shared a taste of its third LP, III. Dark as ever, the Canadian duo are gradually submerged in an electronic fog on the haunting “Wrath of God.” Ethan Kath expertly orchestrates the cut around Alice Glass’ frantic vocals, ultimately producing one intensely gloomy but gorgeous track.

Lana Del Rey "Ride"

Not Available Interstitial

Just when it looked like she was through with the music game, Lana Del Rey announced the “Paradise Edition” of her debut Born to Die. On “Ride,” the first of eight new tracks, LDR keeps things simple. As on many of her best cuts, the polarizing singer/songwriter focuses on her wistful crooning as a subtle backing track slowly builds. Check it out below and pick up the record November 8.

Wiz Khalifa f/ The Weeknd "Remember You"

Not Available Interstitial

Wiz Khalifa surprised his fans earlier this week with the release of his latest O.N.I.F.C. single "Remember You." It contained that feature from the Weeknd he had been teasing and, really, it's one of the strong R&B-infused hip-hop tracks of the past few months. It doesn't hurt that the Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye sounds incredible here.
