Like so many other artists these days, M.I.A. announced a slew of details about her new album, Matangi, not through a press release but through her personal Twitter account. She asked her fans to send her questions this morning and, sure enough, they came rolling in.

Maya revealed that Matangi is set to drop in December, along with a book, documentary, and art exhibition. Additionally, she tweeted a picture of the tracklisting sans lead single "Bad Girls," though she made it clear that it will appear on the album.

As for Matangi's sound, well, she said it's like "paul simon on acid." She also noted that it's a huge middle finger to everyone who's given her shit over the past three years. Peep the tracklisting below.
