American Idol’s twelfth season is shaping up to be quite the spectacle. Just yesterday it was announced that Nicki Minaj was set to judge the show’s next season alongside Mariah Carey and another, yet to be announced celebrity. Now word has it that the final judging spot might go to none other than Kanye West.
Yeezy is still apparently “on the fence” about the gig, but he is supposedly in talks with the show’s producers. If he came on board, West would reportedly receive “at least” Carey’s salary of $18 million per year. Keith Urban, Enrique Iglesias, Brad Paisley and the Jonas Brothers were all previously mentioned as potential candidates, but they all seem to pale in comparison to the prospect of bringing Yeezy to the singing competition.
