Hit-Boy, Nas, and Frank Ocean together has the potential for something really special. That chance came with the song “No Such Thing as White Jesus,” but after Hit-Boy had a mishap, the song was lost. “Yeah I fucked up and lost the drive while traveling. That's why I'm not on life is good. Smh,” he tweeted.

MTV News had a chance to sit down New York Times pop music critic Jon Caramanica to get some more details about the record. It was during the Times’ profile on Frank Ocean, “Creating His Own Gravity,” that fans got a preview with lyrics from the track’s remnants. We also learned that the track could not be recreated in time for Nas' Life Is Good due to a corrupted file.

Watch the video above that describes Ocean’s performance of the song as “political and astute” while bringing a certain intensity similar to “No Church In The Wild.” Caramanica also believes that this track was exactly what Nas needed right now.
