Earlier this week, we posted a video of Kendrick Lamar killing a freestyle session on Tim Westwood's radio show. And now, here is the interview. Kendrick talks about his Compton roots, the songs and production on his new album good kid, m.A.A.d city, Hologram Tupac, and a scare he had recently on a plane trip. He also talks about his relationship with Dr. Dre, saying, "He gives me the freedom to go out and do me. That's the great thing about the situation I'm in. You don't have that in today's game, where [moguls] actually believe in what you're doing, [like], 'Go out, do your thing, come back, and let me hear it.'" Watch the full clip above.
