Shia LaBeouf is no stranger to left-field musical collaborations. He directed Kid Cudi's "Maniac," which played out more like a horror film than a music video. He also worked with Marilyn Manson on the disturbing visuals for "Born Villain." This latest video for Sigur Rós' "Fjögur Píanó" may be the strangest yet.

The Icelandic band's website explains how the video came about:

Sigur Rós have given a dozen film makers the same modest budget and asked them to create whatever comes into their head when they listen to songs from the band's new album valtari. the idea is to bypass the usual artistic approval process and allow people utmost creative freedom. among the filmmakers are ramin bahrani, alma har'el and john cameron mitchell.

Apparently, this is what goes on in director Alma Har'el's head. There is a nude Shia LaBeouf, a sinking car, and plenty of symbolism. Since the video's not safe for work, watch it on YouTube during your lunch break, if that's how you want to spend 8 minutes of your day.
