Ten days ago, hip-hop fans got excited to see the Queensbridge legend Nas and Meek Mill in the studio. From Meek’s tweet, it sounded like they were cooking up a classic for his upcoming album Dreams & Nightmares. During Drake’s Club Paradise Tour stop in North Carolina, Meek hit up Elliott Wilson’s Keep It Thoro to discuss his Dreamchasers 2 success, new management with Roc Nation, and his collaboration with Nas. Definitely look out for “Maybach Curtains” on his debut releasing on August 28.

Meek Mill on whether its a hardcore record or a street record:

I think it’s an all-around record, man. It’s called “Maybach Curtains.” It’s always good to get motivation from the legends, legends telling you they love the music. You can run into Hov, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Baby, Puff Daddy. These like the biggest guys in the game and they telling you they love the music that means you are doing the right thing. It’s nothing but motivates me and makes me take it to the next level.
