This is an interesting duet of a Rock And Roll hall of famer and a contemporary artist. Bobby Womack is prepping his new album The Bravest Man in the Universe, due out on June 11, and has brought on Lana Del Rey for the single “Dayglo Reflection.” It was co-produced by Damon Albarn and XL owner Richard Russell.
Speaking about working with Del Rey on the song, the soul singer described their chemistry like “two people in church,” he said to NME, before adding: “She's one of a kind. I've never sung with a girl like that before." Do yourself a favor and listen to this beautiful offering of dusty soul.
