A few years ago, after the release of her It's Not You, It's Me album, rumors started to spread that Lily Allen was retiring from music. She later clarified, explaining that "retiring" wasn't ever a word she used, but that she wouldn't be writing or recording for a while, and the idea of touring didn't fit into her life plans.

Towards the end of last year, Allen gave birth to a daughter, and sources are now saying that she's back in the studio. According to the Daily Star, Lily was spotted at a studio in London, and a source said she's been writing new tracks, but nothing has been recorded yet. The source also says that an album may be ready by early 2013.

There's no confirmation as to whether or not the rumors are true, but hopefully we'll find out soon.
