Brian McKnight’s return to the spotlight has been an interesting one. Moments after he released “If You’re Ready To Learn," Twitter reacted with a slew of hate messages. But now, the adult entertainment industry has an eye on McKnight and his new steamy single.
According to TMZ, the AVN Awards (otherwise known as the Oscars for pornography) reached out to have the singer perform the song live. They offered to pay for a trip to Las Vegas where the event is being held next January.
TMZ reports that AVN isn’t the only porn company with several others wanting to work with McKnight. Specifically, YouPorn.com has asked him if they could use his song to be the website’s background theme music.
"I don't know what specifically I will do with this track in the future ... and I don't see myself ever performing it live, but I am flattered that people have embraced it and are having as much fun with it as I am,” he said.
