Note to Ja Rule: Make sure you get the OK the next time you try to do a phone interview while in prison, because you'll obviously have to pay for it again. Apparently the incarcerated Queens native used his birthday telephone call to ring in to Sirius XM's Ear Candy Mornings show on Hip Hop Nation without getting permission to do so. A hearing board determined that he will perform a week-long work detail for his punishment.
Ja's publicist said that prison officials basically put an end to his doing any further interviews following the one he did recently with New York Daily News. You might remember he was pretty upbeat about his sentence and commented on making some close friends.
