By now, we've all caught wind that Kanye West was snubbed of a GRAMMY nomination when his fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, was not listed as a competitor in the Album of the Year category. During last night's Watch the Throne stop in his hometown of Chicago, West, who leads the GRAMMY nominations with seven nods, spoke on his absence in the prized category by putting the blame on himself.
"That's my fault for dropping Watch the Throne and Dark Fantasy in the same year. I should've just spaced it out just a little bit longer." MBDTF getting robbed of a nomination is unfortunate, but 'Ye is right. Hopefully, the rapper learns from his mistakes and takes the trophy home next year.
