Here's your daily dose of crazy news from the world of music and it comes from the Foo Fighters, who were named Band of the Year by the folks at Consequence of Sound. It appears that the band rocked Auckland, New Zealand's Western Springs Stadium so hard that the earth moved. No joke.

GeoNet reports that the Foos and the 50,000 fans in attendance caused detectable geological tremors that were consistent with those generated by a volcanic event. And apparently the seismic activity could track exactly what was going on during the show -- there were lulls in between songs and peaks during the more intense jams. Pretty wild, right?
