Etta James, the iconic singer who is experiencing somewhat of a musical resurgence through samples of her songs on smash hits from Avicii and Flo Rida, has an incurable form of chronic leukemia, according to her live-in doctor. The 73-year-old was hospitalized earlier this year with a blood infection, and was also diagnosed with dementia. Her doctor asks fans to pray for her.
