It isn't often that an artist would reject the opportunity in working with one of music's biggest bands, but was the case with Coldplay.
The British band frontman Chris Martin revealed to Maxim that a song he had penned for Beyoncé was turned down by her A&R. “Well, I did write a song for Beyonce, but it got rejected by her A&R people. And the one I wrote for Rihanna didn’t get rejected,” Martin revealed to Maxim.
Beyoncé is known for her close relationship with Martin and Martin's wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, who the singer has cited as her best friend.
