The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards just got a little bigger. Although Lady Gaga has been teasing fans all week about it, official news finally broke that she will be opening the big show on August 28. The Fame Monster couldn't be happier, telling MTV's Sway, "It means the world to me. I just feel really blessed every day. I have the most amazing fans." Gaga is nominated for four awards, including Best Female Video, Best Art Direction, Best Choreography and Best Video with a Message.
The annoucement was also set to include the worldwide premiere of her new video "Yoü And I" but the visuals were released a bit ahead of schedule, surfacing this past Tuesday.
