2011 has been a very interesting year for Charlie Sheen; he got dropped from Two and a Half Men, he coined a phrase that will not die anytime soon, he gets namedropped in every other rap song, he had some brilliant guys put together a soundboard of his best quotes, the list goes on. Having said that, it was only right that Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J, who form the Insane Clown Posse, tapped Sheen to host their annual Gathering of the Juggalos event this year.
This year's Gathering will mark the first time the event has had a host. "That opened up a whole new door for the Gathering itself, 'cause we never even thought about doing a host of the main stage," Shaggy 2 Dope explained. When Rolling Stone asked why they chose Sheen, of all people, to host the event, Shaggy said, "Charlie Sheen right now is under a microscope, he’s under scrutiny. Everything he says is debated, picked apart--much like everything we do." He went on to say, "Everybody thinks Charlie Sheen, craziness! But really it’s not. It makes total sense."
