Two of rap's biggest names have a treat for us. Their long-awaited collaborative effort Watch The Throne is just weeks away and Jay-Z and Kanye West have officially decided to form a rap supergroup, give us an official release date for the album, as well as an announcement of their biggest tour yet.
Hov and 'Ye—now known as "The Throne"—will drop the much anticipated Watch The Throne exclusively to iTunes on August 8, and physically at major retailers on August 12. You can pre-order the album right now and receive the album's lead single "Otis" featuring legendary soul musician Otis Redding.
On August 12, tickets for their fall tour go on sale with the Live Nation pre-sale of the tour available on July 28. The 24-show tour kicks off Sept. 22 in Detroit, will head up north to Toronto, Canada with stops in Chicago, Los Angeles, Vegas, Atlanta, then ending in Boston.
