Jay-Z and Timbaland are in legal trouble surrounding their 2000 hit single "Big Pimpin." Although the sample was cleared, there's a dispute over how the license for the song was used.

The record samples "Khosara, Khosara" by Baligh Hamdy. Only an unaltered version could be legally licensed, and the lawsuit contests that an altered version was used. After the composer passed away in 1993, copyrights to the song were passed down to his children. Egyptian "moral rights" legislation was breached because Jigga man did not ask for permission from the four children to use an altered version of the song.

Team Carter has no comment as of yet, but what's a couple dollars to him?
