Rockie Fresh isn't legal to drink yet, but he already has two solid mixtapes (Rockie's Modern Life, and The Otherside) under his belt, and has earned some blog fame over the past two years. The above video features the up-and-comer rocking a mostly Caucasian crowd alongside Naledge (of Kidz In The Hall), and Phil Adé, while some non-performing members of the clique get their smoke on backstage. Fresh doesn't awe us lyrically, and his nonchalant character isn't something too original that makes him stand out among the recent breed of "cool kid" rappers, but the string-laced beat knocks hard, plus the performance footage captured by Davy Greenberg flows effortlessly. The young MC still has many ears to capture, so while this video's an up, we're still not completely down.
