Jack Tatum is the Virginia native who has gone from relative unknown to the forefront of the indie rock scene in a matter of months. When recording, he goes by the name of Wild Nothing, and after several leaks and singles, his debut album Gemini finally hit stores earlier this month. His sound is clearly driven by a fascination with nostalgia, but manages to remain one of the freshest-sounding records out. He's in NYC tonight to tear it down for a sold-out crowd at the Music Hall of Williamsburg; if you haven't been paying attention to this guy, it's time to start.
