Why They Broke Up: After the release of their 1999 album Nineteen Naughty Nine: Nature's Fury, Jersey's hitmakers broke up after a financial dispute arose between Treach and original producer Kay Gee. Treach and Vinnie put an album out under the Naughty name in 2002, but the sonic chemistry was gone, and the album flopped.
Why They Got Back Together: After finding success as a producer for Jaheim and Next, things slowed down for Kay Gee, who came back to the flock in 2006, when he made the reunion official by appearing at a Naughty concert in NYC. The trio made their presence felt as honorees at the 2008 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, and they are currently working on their new album Anthem Inc.
