UPDATED6/20, 5:25p.m. ET: The man suspected of killing 19-year-old Oluwatoyin Salau has reportedly confessed to the crime.
According to court documents obtained by the Tallahassee Democrat, 49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr. made the admission to multiple people shortly after he was taken into custody. Glee reportedly told officers he was experiencing breathing problems, and was subsequently transferred to a hospital; it was there that he told officers he had killed Salau as well as 75-year-old Victoria Sims on two different dates. According to the legal documents, he also confessed to the murders during a phone call to his mother.
"While at the hospital, Glee had made voluntary admissions to officers guarding him that he had murdered two women in Tallahassee," the report says. "He would also place a telephone call to his mother and make these same admissions ... Glee would admit in detail that on different dates, he had kidnapped and murdered both (Salau) and Sims."
Glee reportedly told authorities he had met Salau on June 6 at a bus stop, where they spoke for about an hour. During that time, Salau allegedly told Glee she had recently been sexually assaulted and had no where to go. The man claims that after the woman agreed to go to his home to bathe and rest, he called Sims to pick them up in her vehicle. His account was supported by surveillance footage at the bus stop.
"That footage also demonstrated that [Salau] and Glee did engage in an extended conversation while seated on a bench at the bus stop," the report states. "At approximately 7:07 p.m., a white Toyota, the same make and model of the one owned by Sims, arrived in the area of the bus stop. Glee and (Salau) departed in that Toyota moments later."
Glee claimed that shortly after they arrived at his home, he attempted to have sex with Salau. The woman physically resisted and bit Glee's arm; however, he said he ultimately overpowered her.
"He was asked if he would characterize his actions as rape. Glee responded in the affirmative," the report read.
Glee then admitted to tying Salau up and keeping her captive for several days, though he couldn't give an exact number, as he was "he was heavily under the influence of alcohol."
The man said he would allow Salau to eat and bathe, but refused to let her out of the house because he feared she would alert authorities.
"Glee stated that he was aware that he would be arrested and likely sentenced to prison if he allowed (Salau) to leave the residence," the report continued. "Glee indicated that he determined that his only course of action was to end her life."
He told investigators he had tied Salau in manner that he knew would be fatal. Shortly after, he determined Salau was dead.
Officers also discovered Sims' body inside Glee's home. Her hands and feet were tied behind her.
Glee is facing multiple counts of murder and kidnapping as well as one count of sexual assault.

Oluwatoyin Salau, a protester who went missing earlier this month, has been found dead in Tallahassee.
Salau's family confirmed her death on Monday, per a report from the Tallahassee Democrat. Danaya Hemphill, a friend of Salau's, said she had seen the 19-year-old activist just one day before she went missing.
"Toyin was very passionate," Hemphill said. "She was very vocal. She was very loving, very spiritual, very caring. Toyin, she was like a light in a dark room. That was Toyin."
Shortly before going missing, Salau had tweeted about being sexually assaulted. In a tweet dated June 6, she said she had been "molested in Tallahassee, Florida" by a person "disguised as a man of God." According to Salau, she had sought refuge at a church in the area as a way of escaping what she described at the time as "unjust living conditions."
Per a separate report from WCTV, the Tallahassee Police Department later confirmed that Salau was one of two homicide victims whose bodies were discovered Saturday. Forty-nine-year-old Aaron Glee Jr. has been arrested in connection with both cases.
"It's not that all lives don't matter, but right now our lives matter," Salau was filmed telling the crowd at a recent protest, as seen in the video up top. "Black lives matter. Black trans lives matter. Trans lives matter. Because, guess what? We're all minorities. But right now, let's focus on the person that got killed. Tony McDade was a black trans man. We are doing this for him. We are doing this for our brothers and our sisters who got shot. But we're doing this for every black person because, at the end of the day, I can't take my fucking skin color off. I can't mask this shit, okay? Everywhere I fucking go, I am profiled whether I like it or not."
Given that Salau is said to have reported the assault to police, who did nothing, many are also pointing out that this is another sad example of how law enforcement routinely fails citizens when they actually need their help the most.
