A Los Angeles man driving a dump truck went on a rampage on Sunday afternoon, crashing into his home, parked cars, and his neighbors’ yards, CBS Los Angeles reports.

Ronald Dunn allegedly arrived in the south Los Angeles County neighborhood of Westmont driving a white Chevy Impala, according to neighbor Journey Meggerson. Dunn then took the car and “tore up” his own garage door. Neighbors phoned the authorities, but before they arrived Dunn left the scene and returned in a massive dump truck, and was caught on camera pummeling the truck repeatedly into his home. Neighbors then filmed Dunn on returning a third time, again in his white Impala, as he began cussing out his wife and neighbors before fleeing the scene.

According to his estranged wife Patricia Dunn, her husband was upset because she had begun the process of divorce and filed a restraining order against him earlier this month. L.A. police didn’t arrive until 45 minutes after the call, and Patricia said her husband’s path of destruction could have been curbed if the cops had arrived sooner.

“If they had been up in here a bit earlier, all of this damage wouldn’t have happened because he came back three times, and they weren’t even here,” Patricia told CBS L.A., sobbing. She said that during the ordeal she experienced, “Fear — completely fear. Because he was like a madman.”

She told CBS L.A. that she wants to just move out of the house in case her husband comes back. As of this writing, Ronald Dunn still hasn’t been apprehended.

“I don’t even want this house anymore,” Patricia said. “I want to put it up for sale and just move on, because I’m not comfortable here anymore. I don’t know, he might come back. Who’s to say he’s not? A man who’s under that kind of rage, who’s to say what he might do? He was trying to kill me. He really was.”
