Following the reopening of select KFC and Nando's stores, McDonald's have now announced their plans to reopen some stores of their own across the UK from May 13.

Maccy D's announced that they will be initially opening 15 of its restaurants first, with Dalston, Tooting and Harrow being amongst the lucky locations selected. Food will only be available via delivery at first, with additional stores being reopened at a later, unconfirmed date. "Rest assured, we are working hard to re-open more restaurants and will keep you updated as we add more," a McDonald's spokesperson said.

The loved fast-food restaurant has been closed for almost two months now, since the coronavirus lockdown kicked in, however now we are passing the peak of the virus, the franchise are taking baby steps in getting closer to normality.
