Is anyone wearing pants anymore though?

Pants, an item of clothing previously worn by humans to cover the bottom half of the body prior to COVID-19 inspiring many of us to rarely venture far enough from our respective dwellings for decorum to even matter, are having a moment.

Indeed, thanks to a reporter boldly (though not intentionally) engaging in an on-air interview sans pants with the Good Morning America team on Tuesday, the topic of trousers has gripped the globe.

Reporter Will Reeve, who USA Todaypoints out is the son of the late Christopher Reeve, was enlisted for the GMA interview to chop it up about drone-assisted medication delivery in Florida. While the earlier moments of the segment served the quarantine-minded method of bottom-half-casual quite well, the interview's progression in terms of camera angles ultimately resulted in Reeve's pantslessness being revealed:

As the expectedly hilarious commentary on this slip-up started to accumulate, Reeve laughed it off by explaining that he had simply prepared for the appearance with his post-interview workout in mind.

"The camera angle, along with friends, family, and several hundred strangers on social media made me rethink my morning routine," he said.

When WFH goes wrong (or, your self-framed live shot goes too wide).

Anyway, whether you yourself have chosen to rock pants today or not, do enjoy the ensuing pantslessness discourse below:

“One of your brother’s best friends from college is going to go viral for not wearing pants on Good Morning America” is NOT the Quarantine plot twist I thought my life would take today.
